Strength is the third and final instalment of Mike Peters' autobiography, following Love, and Hope. Mike completed it prior to his passing, in 2025, and left detailed instructions regarding publication. The book is a deeply personal, emotional account of Mike finally breaking free from cancer.

It reflects on his remarkable life with his beloved Jules, and their two sons, while reflecting on the renaissance of The Alarm and the wild ride that saw him play arenas with The Cult, tour with Big Country, and headline his own shows in the final year of his life. It reflects, too, on the pioneering cancer treatment he received at The Christie. Love, Hope, and Strength is completed, of course, with music, and each copy of the book will feature a recording of Mike’s final ever performance. The superluxe version will also feature a DVD recording of that show.

Writing the books was a labour of love for Mike in the final years of his life. Typically, he poured his heart and soul into the manuscripts, the design, the music, and the production of them. He left very detailed instructions to the team working on the project – and those instructions are being faithfully followed.
