James, Georgia and Louise Sommerin raced into action when Covid-19 sent the UK into lockdown. Rather than rest on their laurels of think of themselves, they cooked 27,000 free dinners for the NHS. This book tells their remarkable story, provides some of those recipes - and also raises extra money for charity, with £12.85 each copy being donated.

The book focuses on the events leading up to Covid-19 and then tells how James and Georgia cooked tens of thousands of dinners with help from Louise and the Sommerin's two other daughters.

There is a selection of recipes that provide popular with NHS staff - including plenty that book buyers will be able to recreate in their own kitchens.

Louise Sommerin, who had the idea for the book, says: "We were all determined to do something. James and Georgia and the rest of us worked our socks off for the NHS - just as the NHS was working its socks off to save lives."

£10 from each book goes to the local NHS trust, with £2.85 going to Hospitality Action. The remainder covers print costs. All photographers, editors and the publisher worked for free - and James, Georgia and Louise donated their time and the ingredients to create A Little Help From My Friends.
